Do you mean head to head in sales, or head to head in an actual race. I for one am more excited to see the RC350 race the M4. When do you think people will get together to make that happen? Would it be much of a race? Which car do you think would win?
Head to head on a race track and in an overall review just to see which vehicle is better overall and not just on a road course track or 1/4 mile.

Im sure in terms of sales the M4 will dominate

there is a large market for M compared to F Sport.

I am interested to see track performance comparison just like soarer.

That is the only regime that Lexus can possibly put up a fight.

I was just reading that Lexus isn't really aiming to take down the Germans though. They are purposely making their vehicles different from the rest to appeal to a different type of customer -- someone who doesn't want a mainstream BMW, Benz, etc...

Performance wise I hope that Lexus can keep up with or surpass BMW. Its hard to imagine with the strength of BMW's M division though.

I think it all comes down to price. If lexus can undercut the M4 its going to enjoy a good chunk of this market, but anywhere above the M4 and its going to be a VERY tough sell. however the one redeaming factor could be the snarly natural 8...

Where did you read up on that?

I guess doing that is better for them, best to set them selves apart and not just have their main purpose to rival others

That is fine but as a PERFORMANCE coupe you still need to PERFORM as well as the competition

Just because Lexus doesnt want to aim to take down the Germans does not mean people will not compare them to the Germans

And not realizing this fact is ignorance and not understanding your competition.
