Since the transmissions that will be used in the RC variants is of interest to me, I thought I would share this paper (From Lexus) that explains a little about the Sport Direct Shift Transmission from the IS F.
A version of this transmission is confirmed by Lexus for the RC 350 RWD.
It is also in use in the IS 350 which the RC 350 is largely based on.

It is a very good torque converter automatic but it is a torque converter nonetheless.

Lexus should really think about investing into DCT
