Road and Track posted a review yesterday on the Lexus RC-F and called it the "Perfect Japanese Pony Car". What do you guys think ?

My first experience with the Lexus RC F, which occurred during our testing for PCOTY 2015, suggested that the outrageous-looking coupe might be a candidate for that Trans-Am-shaped hole in my heart. It certainly had the right visual package. The base RC coupe is anonymously striking the same way a four-cylinder '82 Firebird was, but the F-model adds just the right amount of wrong, so to speak.

That's actually a really good read. I enjoyed reading that article.

On the plus side, when you're in the braking zone, you can simply click the left paddle a few times and the RC F will delay the downshift until it's safe for the engine.

That sounds really convenient and useful too

I saw this thread and instantly thought of this review:

...but the new F has a personality all its own, a Japanese Camaro with lots of buttons and displays and a boisterous voice.

I think it could be said the RC-F is more than a Camaro, maybe more along the lines of a Cadillac CTS-V Coupe? After all the caddy is as luxurious as this Lex, or close enough.

Ugh I definitely wouldn't compare this to the Camaro ... That's just wrong. Unless we're talking the new Camaro prototype Z28.. Now that.. I can say okay fine to

isn't the best track car that Lexus is offering the LFA? If you are looking for a Lexus track car, I would assume that is where you would turn.
