It looks just like the RC but Convertible!!!!
Proper 6 series rival, they're even claiming a TT V8 is in the work for SC F...xpect the production SC to be unveiled at an early 2016 auto show with an on-sale date later that year. Price should be in the $80,000-to-$95,000 range.
Don't forget it's a rendering. It looks just like the RC but Convertible!!!!
The RC just needs to hit the gym and learn martial artsRC deserves an older brother to show him the ropes you know, how to really deal with those Germans...
Lexus seems like the sort of company that will learn from its past. Looking at reviews and comparisons of the RC to other vehicles in its segment, Lexus should have a good idea of how to make the SC not subject to the same criticisms. The RC just needs to hit the gym and learn martial arts
SC, will hopefully be potent enough in its segment, unlike the RC in its segment.
So it seems, I feel they have more to live up to with the SC/LC since it's going to be a model that helps to greater define the brand and position them better since the LFA is unattainable for more and the RC isn't potent enough, SC can be that strong middle ground with a generous mix of LFA DNA.Lexus seems like the sort of company that will learn from its past. Doesn't matter if they cake the RC350 in gold, its still not a viable rival for the 6 series based on dimensionsThe RC just needs to hit the gym and learn martial arts

Are you just referring to the measurements of the RC350? It seems to me that the 6-series is quite a bit longer than the RC350, no?Doesn't matter if they cake the RC350 in gold, its still not a viable rival for the 6 series based on dimensions![]()
Future Japanese Sports Cars: Nissan GT-R, Lexus SC, and Toyota SupraLexus wants to be anything but boring. Polarizing styling and high-performance models are a start, but a big, flashy coupe is a must to cement Lexus in the luxury big leagues. Based on the next-generation Lexus LS, the new two-door will offer three potent powertrains: a high-output version of the brand’s 5.0-liter V-8, a hybrid setup making around 500 hp, and a range-topping F with a twin-turbo V-8 that could top 600 hp. Lexus hopes the revival of the SC name will evoke memories of the elegant SC coupe from the 1990s.
LC seems to stand for Lexus Coupe...I'll believe that 'SC' name plate mention when I see trademarks, so far 'LC' seems to be the nameplate it will get.
