at first my new Samsung galaxy 6 paired with the rc ...then it went out of whack and now it will not connect. i have read in other google searches that many have the same problem and unique to the worse interface i have ever had in a car .. i sent e-mail to lexus and no answer ...they must feel lousy that they cannot fix such a simple thing

the google searches indicate this is a real problem. also the so called entertainment system that lexus has stinks....i have a nissan maxima and is interface is friendly ,useful and a joy unlike the lexus .

and just completed a 2,000miles trip on the rc............26.7 mpg at ave. speed of 74mph. yes ,people are driving fast ...85 plus.

so far my thinking is the same ...this is a nice gt car but never a sports car in the vein of a 911 ,vette or even the mazda miata .

the back road handling is very good but scary ...........you do not get the secure feeling that you get in a 911.

Sorry to hear that. Is the problem occurring with the Samsung galaxy 6 or just Android in general?

That's one downside of the RC, your mention of it being a GT car which I don't think everyone really wanted but didn't mind having once it was here. Maybe the next time around we'll get something that will be officially a sports car, since I don't see room for something else to be slotted in... unless i'm wrong.

Not sure why the problem with the Galaxy S6 as I have no incompatibility problem(s) with the Galaxy Note 4.

As for the RC not being a sports car, I agree it's simply a luxo coupe.

Miata, 911, Vette, 2 door, 2 seat sport cars and you are comparing them to a 2 ton+ luxury coupe. As far as the Samsung interface is concerned mine works perfectly! Make and receives calls, read texts etc. Delete your phone and try to pair again.

Yes installed uninstalled and even had the guy at the dealer look at it. That came in handy. I get the E-mails but not the text

Are you using the Samsung default messaging? If so, you could could try another text/messaging app., and see if that makes a difference.

i was at a best buy and there was a samsung tech there . works for samsung not best buy . he looked at my galaxy 6 and did all sorts of things with it that i never thougth could be done by just running fingers on screen .
anyhow he came out to my car and tried to pair it . he did ...............but as soon as i drove off it failed again.
now as of yesterday ,i SOMETIMES receive and can make calls . BUT ,i also get messages and texts that i do not want to see in my car ..............for calls and answering ok but really bad idea to see texts and other on the screen...............
BUT ,MOST of the time the thing does not work. the samsung man told me to take it to the dealer and th elexus HELP said the same . i just hate dealers ......but will have to.
