New to this forum and am in the process of getting an RC350 F-Sport on order (perks of the wife working for Lexus corporate). Looking at maxing it out, but had a question on 2 things. Wanted some opinions.

1.) The Paint Shield. Worth it? My main concern is possible "yellowing" in the future or even the edges coming up and looking rough. Another concern is what it will do to the paint job when you have to replace it in 3-4 years and whether or not it will change the shade of it in that area on the hood.

2.) VGRS. Again, worth it? I've test driven one without it and the feedback was good for what I felt. I'm just wondering if they're making it as an option to stimulate more torque steering or if anybody can notice an actual difference in the feel of it. Coming off of a 2015 Accord V6 Coupe, I'm not looking for an overly torque steering like that one was (mostly due to the low end torque of the engine and the front wheel drive). So again, has anyone had that option put on their 350.

Lexus will be doing it. It's ordered through corporate then sent to the dealership where all the accessories will be put on. So, I assume the dealership. They probably outsource it to a mobile 3rd party installer who comes to their shop to do it. That's what Honda did.

Yeah usually that's the case, they hire a 'Lexus' certified installer to do the work. Even possible installers from 3M have trained people at Lexus dealers and other dealers to do the installs.
