This RC-F was the official pace car at the Toyota Grand Prix in Long Beach, sitting on Vossens

Looks great, especially on those Vossens. I'm sure it was nice enough looking to get some people to stop and take notice while walking by.

Even more so that it was a Toyota event and considering the current state of the RC, no better timing for a project like this.

All they're missing is a light bar at the top!

I think the livery on the RC F pace car could have been a bit more exciting, and I also would be a supporter of the light bar on top.

Yup. Pace cars can be quite simple, although some have slightly crazier color scheme's going on.

The GS posted is a good example.

I guess the focus should be on the race cars. I just like seeing the RC F looking as good as it can.

Ultimately it's all about the race cars, no one in the right mind goes to a race event with seeing the pace cars as the highlight of their day.

But it's still nice to look at what pace cars are out there are they are cool to an extent.

Toyota just showed off a Mirai fuel cell sedan pace car.
Never seen that coming.
But it's a good way to get more eyes on it and the technology it has.

That does seem like the perfect pace car because its a vehicle that people aren't that familiar with but it also is very innovative so when people do see it it will stick with them.
