Remember that during development it was said the RC will likely get a convertible down the line. Now if that ends up translating to the RC-F is unclear, but it would be a good weapon to fight the M4 drophead...

I'm hoping the convertible will come out soon. That is what I'm waiting on. I took a corvette for a test drive and didn't like it. In the corvette I sat way too low and it wasn't comfortable. Test drove the lexus IS 350 and loved it but doesn't have the looks that I want. Hoping the convertible rc-f will be the answer. Any news when the convertible will hit the showroom?

It looks like it would take to the convertible styling nicely, and I'm sure that people would buy it. The extra weight is a disadvantage, but its the trade off for getting a convertible roof.

Added weight will make the car go a bit slower. It won't be a huge change but when you are buying a performance car like this things like top speed and acceleration are pretty important to some people.
