Lots of effort was put in to the paint. For a premium line like Lexus I think they did their part in showing quality in every angle from design all the way to the paint.

It is awesome what they've done with the paint, which also makes me wonder how this painting process of their's stacks up to what other brands are doing

Sometimes you don't realize all the thought and time that is put in by the design team. Most designers have an entire story behind their work. It's cool getting to hear straight from them what they think about their design.

Sadly for them, most of the time all that stuff stays in the dark with most mainstream vehicles without much to them but when it comes to a high impact car like this you're sure to see the designers side and story to it, i'm noticing car makers doing this more and more.

To me its just a story shown to consumers trying to convince.

indirectly, yes.

it worked on me, getting to know the brand and having that connection and understanding makes me appreicate it more and increases my chances of buying, which it has.
