Ok, I'll TRY to make this brief.

Test drove and had my heart pretty much set on an RC350 F-Sport in Atomic Silver with Red interior. Drove it, loved it. I originally went in wanting Obsidian or Nebula Gray Pearl, but the atomic silver looked dark enough (I prefer darker cars). Only issue is there was no spoiler :crying:, but I could always do that after the fact. Agreed on price, planned to pick it up on the 30th. 0

BUT THEN... >

I checked out the inventory at another location (same dealer tho) and happened upon the sexy Batmobile-looking beast below. It's a nice matte black with black grill and rear emblem (can't tell if it's wrapped, dipped or painted; probably wrapped) with Vossen VFS2 bronze wheels (probably 19") already installed, black interior, PLUS the spoiler...... AND IT'S THE EXACT SAME PRICE.

I don't care for the COLOR of the wheels and I want 20's, but I could always get the wheels I want then sell these to someone at a discount (maybe on here? I looked them up and the 19's are about $2200 for a set of four minus tires). I love the matte black look, I'm pretty much guaranteed to not pass anyone else with an identical setup on the same car. It's black interior tho, not red.

I'm leaning towards going with this car over the atomic silver; thoughts? If you think I shouldn't, please respond with why. I'm posting this with the assumption that everything on the vehicle will be covered by warranty since it's coming from the dealer, but correct me if I'm wrong.

I think you should go for the black matte version. If it costs the same especially. Everyone is looking to stand out from the crowd a bit and this RC definitely does that, and its in good taste. Sounds like you want it too.

Not a fan of the matte black wrap but the vossen wheels sure are nice!
Only downside with Vossens is how common they are to come by, still nice wheels though.

I'm surprised you don't like the matte black. I really like that finish on many cars, and when its in black its pretty hard to go over the top.

What are you going to go with????

Nothing. We have great paint options, I rather stick to that instead of wrapping right away. Plus I think the paint might need some time before vinyl is applied since its a new car.

go for the matte if anything like you said it gives you a bargaining chip to get other pieces. If you can trade those for ones you want its money you don't have to spend later. What the price diff between stock and gothams pride?

PS: I have the spoiler on mine (Infrared, pretty glossy), and love the look; love the whole car, too. I just did a 2,000 mile road trip (24+ mpg) and had a very comfortable ride.

I can see the argument that it looks like its primed and waiting to be painted. I think you'd be able to tell better in person whether or not that is the case. Other than that it just comes down to taste.

I'll totally agree that the spoiler is a nice addition. Not sure if it really does much for performance though.
