It seems like the RC F's grille may become the standard of sorts for future Lexus productions. Here are similar grille in their future releases along with a few Concepts.

Coming Soon:
Introducing the first-ever Lexus GS F - lexus.com
Introducing the all-new Lexus RX - lexus.com

Concept:
Lexus LF-LC Concept Car - lexus.com
The Lexus LF-C2 Concept Convertible - lexus.com

I can see them changing things up a lot over time, all they really need to do is keep the spindle outline and everything else inside can be changed... which is along the lines of what we have been seeing.
the big spindle is their new corporate face yea... When the RC was still a concept the predator face jokes were all the rage...
I think that the grille looks better when it is filled in with the crosshatch pattern. That looks better than the vertical slats. I think the vertical slats make it look like a moustache. And there needs to be continuity with the whole grille, not one things at the top half and another at the bottom half.

That's the RC350, so that look which doesn't look nearly as good as what's found on full on F models (RC-F, GS-F, etc) is to be expected, after all they need to justify what the top of the line pack has while keeping lower models in their place... can't get that confused.

not to mention giving a visual reason to upgrade...

I dont think it would look good in all vertical slats.. too much like a waterfall, it would compete with the angular design of the car... IMO
Even if they don't switch all the grilles to the crosshatch pattern, I think that there is something a little better than what is on the RC350 right now. I think that the grille should be filled in with all one pattern and not split into three different sections. What that pattern is, I'll leave up to Lexus.
I wouldn't mind it being all crosshatch or vertical slats as long as they stick with one design. The current grille gives it a bit of a mustache look. It doesn't look the best but it does give you the opportunity to stick this on:

That is exactly what I was thinking. That image is great, thanks for the chuckle.
I would only put that thing on my car during Movember. :D
I'm still wondering if some aftermarket company might come along and come up with some way to make this grille their own with some sort of insert or something since there's quite a lot of space here to work with... a lot of creative juices to flow.
Seems quite plausible. I would be interested to see what's possible. As you said, there is plenty of space to work with there.
There will have to be a demand for a different grille before aftermarket companies comes out with an alternative one. It would be nice to have the RX grille. That one looks amazing.

Indeed, and as more and more of these make their way to the used vehicle market, the potential for this will only continue to grow.
Not sure which model this is from but this grille looks nice.

And then you can keep the original for Movember!

That one does look great. I think they should go with that on most models.

I'm just wondering if that is also a F or F Sport model.
That would be a Lexus IS350, which is what the image information says. Don't know if that's a an F-Sport though.
I found an aftermarket one for the Lexus IS350 grille but it comes in 2 pieces which is odd. I guess we're stuck with what we have on the RC 350 for now unless you have the nicer looking 350 F.
Definitely seems like you should be able to switch the grille filling if you want. There must be a way to do it, or a company that is selling it.
Halloween is coming guys. Who's going to stick a mustache on their RC350?
