Good Morning! New to the forum and am looking at getting a RC 350. My dealer is having a problem finding the color combination i want with the ML upgrade. Some of what I read say it isn't worth it. Would like some opinions if you don't mind.
I did a search of the thread and didn't see this question in this thread. Thanks in advance

I've heard anecdotally its not quite worth the upgrade, but then again I'm no audiophile. What about aftermarket upgrades post purchase? Could likely replicate the effect at a similar cost if not less?

i have the ml on mine and it is like any audiophile equipment ...you have to pay extra to get that bottom octave...is it worth it ...to me ,yes ...but not to all.i have heard both and found the ml more lnear in delivery...cleaner bottom end and great mid range and highs .....bottom line ...to me ,in my opinion ,i can accept and hear the difference ...more akin to the results of a leica lens vs a nikon lens ...can you see the reults in the finished print ...? some can and some cannot .
only you can tell after listening to both back to back ...you will be surprised

I have a 2011 Acura now with their top of the line system. I have never heard one better from the factory. Even the new 2015's it is not as good. I guess I am trying to compare something that isn't going to happen. I did notice the older I get the volume tends to go down some.

This is true with a lot of stock systems and that is the case since they actually get sound engineers to fine tune the entire audio setup. In the end you get quality sound with just enough equipment!

Possible to do with an aftermarket audio shop but you'd have to find the odd one out that goes the extra mile to refine rather than replacing what went in stock locations
