Lexus is on a roll if you ask JD Power. JD Power released its yearly US Vehicle Dependability Study, and for the 4th consecutive year Lexus topped the list. That's a new record.
The study surveys original owners of three-year-old vehicles about what type of problems they experienced over the last year. The vehicles and brands are then ranked according to the number of problems per 100 vehicles. Vehicles in the 2014 study are actually from model year 2011.
Lexus reported 89 problems per 100 vehicles. Second place was Buick with 110 problems per vehicles 100 vehicles, and third went to Toyota with 111 problems per 100 vehicles.
