The Autoblog piece is well written and thought out IMO...

Where the IS F was not only happy to drift through hard corners, but prone to it, the RC offers a much more balanced setup. To me, that’s a huge win for the development team, even if it results in a car that’s slightly more mainstream, less idiosyncratic. Less of a glorious ******* and more of a grownup – I trust that a lot of you will understand why that makes me both happy and sad.

Jalop has theirs in as well... Find they really like to go all in on the styling jokes, good for them...

I've come down distinctly on the side of dislike. Even in F guise, with the quad tailpipes, carbon roof, bigger intakes, aggressive wheel and tire package, and seemingly wider stance, the RC seems like designers had a major disagreement that resulted in a cartoon car. The front end of the RC was described by people at the event as a proboscis monkey, a beluga whale, a Norelco razor, and just plain ugly.

The theory that I've come up with for Lexus design is that a restrained design came first, and then someone saw it and said "can you please add more styling? It needs more styling!" So then the designers go all coo coo bananas and we have a car that looks like it can eat you.
the rest is alright, but they do want you to know that they get to slide and you don't...

truthfully though many of the reviewers seem to be missing the point. If you listen to what Lexus has been saying all along, they werent building a car to beat BMW, they were building a car to have fun with.

The journalists are just so programmed into binary opinions this is the only way they can write a review without their minds bending and imploding... ;)
