If Motor Trend is believed to still have a lick of credibility there will be an ultra special performance edition of the RC-F...

Production Lexus LF-LC to Get Twin-Turbo V-8 Variant - Motor Trend

In 2017 you can expect to see a super version of the RC F packing the 600-hp twin-turbo V-8. Think of it as an Infiniti Eau Rogue-fighter with a price tag to match — about $120,000. However, since Johan de Nysschen has left Infiniti, it’s doubtful the Eau Rogue will see the light of day. So think of the Super RC F as a C63 AMG Black Series-fighter. Seeing as how the Benz cost about $110,000 and “only” made 510 hp, $10K more for 600 hp (or more) makes sense.

We’re hearing RC FS as the name, with “FS” becoming Lexus’s answer to AMG’s Black Series and (Audi) Quattro GmbH’s RS.
And a render..

^ I totally forgot about that, and now that you brought that up it does make sense. I'm sure they have some sort of standard set for the F badge and also want to compete on a global scale with super high performance vehicles in specific categories.

It's nice to see the Japanese having these similar fighter vehicles finally appearing. A twin turbo V8 would be incredible for the ones who have the money to buy the **** thing. In the mean time we can have high hopes and admire the rendering that could turn to reality one day.

that's true, which brings the question, if Infiniti will have Eau Rouge and maybe IPL, what will they call a trim equivalent to the RC-FS

I think Eau Rouge is dead in the water now that De Nysschen has jumped ship. It was his pet project to bring some respectability to the brand. If Lexus does produce the RC-FS I see it as a go between stop gap almost, something to fill the void in between RC-F and LF-LC whenever that comes around, or hold its place until it does come around...

It will be pleaseant to see if everything they planned out for it follows through. Well a watered down version of the concpet of course.
Yeah it will be a bit watered down, but seeing how much production ready it looked, i can see a lot of it's exterior aero making it to a production model.

if not, i'm sure some after market company will make a replica

I guess it wouldn't be that hard to replicate. the hardest piece would be the front fenders.

This time around I can't to see what Wald has in store for the RCF ;)

They did a great job on the ISF
good taste in exterior aftermarket design, i also can't wait to see what they will do. I just hope they keep it tasteful, wald styling can be a hit or miss.

I thought Wald always did well with their designs, which was did they miss on?
That is also your personal preference, to you all that they offer may look great, which is fine. Meanwhile to me 1/2 of what they have looks good while the other half doesn't come close.

One example was what they did with the FR-S:

Not a fan of the wheels, hood, over fenders. Only thing i really like is the front bumper.
