Here is the Lexus RC F Carbon model on display at the 2014 Beijing Auto Show. Since there aren't many pictures of this model online, it's cool to see a few more. The RC F Carbon promises performances close to what the out-of-production LFA provides.

We are still in the dark about how powerful the V8 engine will be, but Lexus says that it will produce over 450 hp. It will also use the Atkinson cycle when driving through the cit in order to reduce fuel consumption, and it will release the normal Otto Kraken when you step hard on the gas.

The Carbon model will be the top trim level for the RC F. It adds to the Performance trim level, Torque Vectoring Differential, a carbon fiber roof, wing and hood, as well as 19-inch multi-spoke rims and a Mark Levinson 17-speaker premium sound system.

The RC F Carbon model will be pretty much the best and most exciting model that Lexus will have on offer when it comes out. I want to see it inblack, as I think that will look better with the carbon fiber, instead of this white and black two-tone look that we have going on here.

I think that when you consider that you'll be able to get it in a color other than white, and that the carbon model will be the best version of the RC F that you can get, it seems like it is a pretty awesome vehicle. You can't really see it in these pictures, but the roof is also made of carbon fiber. I'm sure you would be able to notice a difference between this and the non-carbon model.

Will you guys be considering getting the carbon package?

I can get by with all the other crabon pieces except for the hood. Its honestly too much carbon, stands out liek a sore thumb. The carbon roof is already enough and not right in your face.

they should have done a front and side splitter out from carbon.

Can anybody confirm if the diffuser on the rear is part of the carbon package?

I don't mind the carbon hood, my issue is with the vent. But at least now at a time where we have a lot of vinyl wrap options, we can wrap the hood in a color that matches the body color.
Lets just hope that the hood vent is functional even. In all honesty the carbon presents too much contrast. To wrap the hood to match the color, who will bother doing that.

I guess if you have the money to do so then why not. But really how much wight does THAT carbon hood shave off compared to stock? If it not a significant difference then why bother even going through all that trouble.

While I have a predilection for CF, in my humble opinion the color mismatch of white and CF on the hood, roof, and wing looks like an add-on or after thought. The weight reduction is great, but at the risk of overall aesthetics... I guess it depends on if you want a race car for the track. It is still a Lexus at the end of the day. I like my white with red RCF. Contemplating changing out the rims to 20s or 21s.

It's for that reason if I want CF, that I go for a darker colored vehicle, as there's that much less contrast between _______ color and CF parts.

Black and CF = for the win.
