Lexus' European operations saw an impressive 25.4% growth in sales for the first half of 2014. That outpaces the overall premium vehicle market, pegged at around 5 percent.

The Lexus IS saw a nine-fold increase in sales in Europe at 6,923 units, including 5,366 IS 300h hybrids. The Lexus GS hybrid line-up posted a 75-percent gain in sales especially following the release of the GS 300h at the end of 2013, to 1,290 units.

The future looks good for Lexus too as they prepare to release the NX CUV, which should be a volume model for Lexus. Lexus expects the NX to account for one third of Lexus delivers in its full year of sales.

Still not a fan of how squared the fender wells are but that's a look that can grow on me, however it does work to help create more of a sporty look which with the way lexus is changing does make this look fit right in.

NX seems good for what it is. I think that most people are happy that the styling stayed in line with the concept. A few are probably unhappy about that and wish that it was toned down a slight bit more.

I know that Toyota operates with pretty good margins. 9.2% I'm finding with some Google research. I bet that applies to Toyota and Lexus together though. Not sure what the margins would be like if we separated the two companies.
