Lexus' invitation to the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) has hit the web, providing preliminary details about the RC-F.
So far Lexus has released a couple of teasers for the high performance version of the all-new RC but they haven't said a word about its engine. Now, thanks to the firm's NAIAS invitation which has surfaced the Internet we are able to find out the model will be powered by a V8 engine delivering 460 bhp (343 kW).

The vehicle will likely adopt some LFA styling cues and is expected to run the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint in 4.5 seconds before reaching a top speed of about 186 mph (300 km/h). It will come with a carbon fiber roof, hood and trunk lid to shed as much weight as possible, while an LFA-derived speed-sensitive rear spoiler will be offered as standard.

Set to be showcased in January in Detroit, the 2014 Lexus RC-F will have a starting price of approximately 100,000 USD.

I know its early but I'm going to say they've just priced themselves out of the battle with BMW. Not for anything but unless the RC-F can hand over fist beat down the M4 Lexus is going to sell maybe 5 RC-F's....

It's priced high but before we start to say what it is compared to the M4 we'll have to wait for it to drop, need to know much more about it.
