RC F chief engineer Yukihiro Yaguchi told Motoring that development on the RC F would be ongoing and that the company is "already thinking about some changes to make for next year." Lexus says that it is trying to emphasize making the car more fun to drive instead of just making the RC F more powerful.

Yaguchi also says that more power can be squeezed out of the engine but would require new components in order to raise the rev limiter. The RC F should follow a similar upgrade path as the IS F with some model changes each year improve on the driving experience.

Yup, he should have mentioned that. I always had a feeling that Lexus just wouldn't stop at the RC-F we're all familiar with, instead go beyond that.
