Lexus F Lineup commercial - "Temptation"

Here is Lexus' latest ad promoting its 'F' lineup. The 'F' lineup is Lexus' performance lineup. It stands for 'Flagship' and 'Fuji Speedway', whose first corner inspired the badge's shape.

The commercial is meant to advertise F vehicles (supreme racing vehicles), F Sport (stock vehicles with improved handling and and more aggressive design) and F Sport Accessories (direct-replacement parts for enhanced performance and styling).

Lexus is currently offering F versions of the LFA supercar, the outgoing IS F performance sedan and the new RC F performance coupe. .

The F Sport pack can be had on almost every Lexus model - the LS, GS, IS, C, CT, RX and even RC.

Nice video but a better one would actually be having all these line up at the markers on the Fuji Speedway!
commercials like this will get even more interesting as they release their high performance F models, RC-F, IS-F, LS-F, etc
Its not just the commercial either, Temptation is an entire marketing campaign...



Supporting print, digital and out-of-home campaign elements also focus on performance while bringing meaning to “F.” The print campaign will be featured in titles such as Sports Illustrated, Vogue and Motor Trend, along with a VIP Coachella event partnership planned with Details. In addition to heavy digital presence through paid media and high-traffic websites, online content partnerships include an MSN video series exploring what makes a man push the limits of extreme performance, and a Motor Trend branded-content series answering the question, “What is Lexus F?” Key out-of-home elements include full-motion video boards at DC Gallery Place and digital boards in New York City’s Times Square. Additionally, creative elements will run in MLB, MLS, NBA and NHL stadiums across 10 Lexus markets with a PA announcement, video board presence and dynamic signage during a break in action.

Well and thats exactly it isn't it. The F Line doesnt speak for itself like M or AMG does. I think the messaging is spot on, considering that yea M and AMG speak for themselves, but what YOU WANT is the F line, and that is what temptation truely is. To know what you Should have (M or AMG) but you do what you shouldnt anyways (RC-F).

It is, overall their approach in a part of the industry that's flooded with M's and AMG's is good, even Infiniti has a good approach which they haven't too far with as yet . Their recent vehicle, the Q50 Eau Rogue really showcased what they can do. It's the age of the Japanese performance rivals :D
