Even just it's proportions alone show it's not close to being anything like an IS Coupe, it's much bigger. A Lexus IS Coupe would have to be smaller, a compact performance coupe, not a as big as this:

If its different it sure as heck doesnt look different.
I have a feeling it'll be the same chassis, same engine.
Maybe there are some different suspension or brakes and skin.
But I would be very surprised if the RC350 came with a different chassis or engine.
