After exhausting search on the net to try and find out what material the hood (bonnet) on my rc350. I could not find any answers. I have come to the conclusion that it is aluminium. It is not magnetic like the rest of the car body, so that is my conclusion. Is that correct?

I was wondering what it was made of also. I have a 2011 Camaro and the hood is also made of Aluminum - gives it strength but also saves on overall weight. I would think that Lexus is doing something similar with the RC350.
