Has any one experienced shifting issues. Mine is not shifting right and I have taken it in to Lexus. Their comment to me was with out a code they can’t diagnose the problem. They said it seems fine maybe it’s learning how you drive. I call horse poo. It wasn’t doing this before. It’s shifting super fast and staying in 8 gear at higher speeds I can go all the way down to 42 miles an hour and it’s still in 8 gear. It will also when turning be in 5 gear at 15 miles an hours the. It has no power. Coming out of the corner until I put my foot in it and get it to go into passing gear. I can shoot someone a video if they want to see what’s happening. Thanks TM

Only thing I can think of… Perhaps ECU needs a reset… Take the battery leads off, have a sandwich, reconnect

I was actually able to fix this myself. Even though the car only has 38k miles on it the “lifetime” transmission fluid needed to be changed. It look like motor oil when I checked it. I did the complete service on the transmission and that fixed the problem. Shame on Lexus for not offering that to me when I took it in for service. I also asked if the trans fluid was check. “ yes sir of course it was” no it wasn’t cause any tech would have seen that and known it need to be replaced. FYI this is not an easy service and takes several steps I was in aware of until I dove into it.

Yeah not sure if the guy before drove it hard or what. But according to what I have read in forums seems like most that have the 8 gear trans change fluid every 40k miles.

Thanks for info T... This is my first 8 speeder. I've got 2 Auto Mechanic/Engineering pals (Racers) Already eggin me to get to track with the BlackLine
I'll run this by them... I know one of them has a 2021 Vette, 8 Speed dual clutch...
