Purchased 7 days ago and changed rear adaptive shock and waiting for front adaptive shocks to come in, but certain signs point towards ball joints in the front and rear. Also maybe believe steering or yaw sensors are not aligned.
Here’s my problem, when I was driving it for the first day if I hit a bump the rear end would sway back and forth once and maintain a straight path (I figured traction control kicks in to maintain a straight path.
Next morning I TRY and drive to work and because the roads were a little wet the car acted as if it had a mind of its own. The front steering was very sensitive and it seemed as if the rear end was trying to compensate to keep the car straight!!!! I just totaled my IS250C in October this steering reminded me of the hydroplane situation. I was doing 45 in a 60 with my hazard lights on about to turn around and go back home…. But I gathered my self and finished my morning journey. I ran a report and it said the steering assist motor overheated 27 times along with a lot other stuff. I have a clue about some of this but maybe the peeps on here can help me where to aim for repairs if any.
thanks ahead of time
