i would actually prefer if the hood was painted

maybe it'll look better on black
I agree with you on that one. Not a big fan of unmatched panels especially such a big one... the hood. Maybe you can pull it off for smaller pieces but that is kind oif an eye soar and doesnt look like it belongs.

If anything maybe just a carbon fiber valences or diffuser cover or even mirrors.

I think that it will look really good on an all black RC F though. Some people aren't into the two tone thing, I think that it is fine. Maybe it looks better in some combinations more so than others though. For example, I think that the black carbon fiber hood would go well if the rest of the car was a brown/bronze tone.

How many people are actually going to order this though. I think it will be pretty niche.

I just thought that I would mention that carbon fiber is poised to go down in price pretty dramatically. Right now the material is pretty expensive due to its slow and expensive manufacturing process. Carbon fiber manufacturer SGL says that the cost of the material could drop in price by as much as 70 percent.

About 80 percent of the cost of carbon fiber parts goes to the production process. Only 20 percent goes to actual material costs.

Point is, maybe this carbon fiber package won't be quite as luxurious and expensive in just a few years.
