Carlinkit 2.0 is a WONDERFUL product. I have used it in Lexus RX350. Works like magic, connects within 10 to 20 seconds.Carlinkit 3.0 works great! Within 30-45 seconds I am connected to CarPlay without having to think about it. From time to time, with wired CarPlay, for unknown reasons it just would not work…this product fixed that issue. The only difference in the CarPlay experience is a slight delay when skipping songs. I attribute this to going from wired to wireless as no wireless connection will be as fast as a wired one. Other than that no difference, sound quality is identical to wired CarPlay. Highly recommended!

To get Apple CarPlay on a car that doesn’t come with it, there’s only one path: you need a new head unit that supports CarPlay.Will it work for a 2016 model without android audio or Apple car play?
