Well can't really decide if I should call it a mod or not but I headlight film wrapped my DRLs today in red and I think it came out pretty dang sweet.

**** ;) that looks soo good. Im considering doing this after seeing your rc. I feel like a nice color combo woud be nice with the real black sits being plasi dipped red to. If you can afford wheels , then get some nice red wheels to.
It looks really nice, even in the daytime. Is that legal to do? I just wonder if they have to be a certain color of light since red usually indicates braking. Otherwise, a very nice job though.

OP, it looks great.

It is not legal as most states indicate that any color other than amber or white at the front of the car is illegal. In fact if you use red or blue at the front of the car you will get pulled over. If in doubt check your state's DMV code for the color type allowed at the front of the car. I had Red halos' on my Camaro and got pulled over and told no red or blue at the front. Took them out the next day and had to prove they were out.

Thats exactly what I was thinking, those local troopers aren't coming over to offer pats on the back...

I was told they would be OK in a parking lot for a car show, but once the car hit the streets those lights better be off otherwise it is ticket time. He wasn't kidding either. Don't want to mess with motorcycle police.

So it doesn't seem like the best mod then. Can you easily take it on or off? Or are you just not driving the RC350 on the street much at all?
Not a fan of this at all but to each their own.

If it was up to me i'd tint them with some really light yellow but that's only if i really wanted to do something, i rather just leave them stock.

Oh GOD no, it's not on the RC350 as it was on the Camaro I had. 0:)

There were many Camaro owners that would change their headlight halo to Red, or perform a color shift, and then would drive with them on, or put LED lights in the wheel well, or do the Kit car light on the SS cars in the mail slot and get a ticket.

It was a pain to take out as the entire headlight assembly had to be split, and the halo taken out, and the old one put back in. After I read the exact law I'm really careful now what type lights I put in.
