Does anyone have a bike rack for their RC 350? I'm looking to buy one but hesitant to committing to any due to possibly damaging the car.

I'm hoping someone in this forum has bought one and used it with their RC 350 successfully.

Thanks so much!

I'm looking for a rack too. Would prefer a roof rack because I'm concerned about damage to the paint if I were to get one that hangs on the back. Researched Yakima on line but no roof rack system for the RC.

They might and it will be worth emailing them or one of the competing brands to see what they have planned for the future. But at this rate they might be taking it slow due to the amount of people that use roof racks on coupes. As you can imagine they have much bigger priorities.

I'd like one for the roof so as to avoid any damage. Thanks for the info! I'll keep an eye out for Thule.

You guys are braver than me! No way anything like that is going on my RC. I'd be sick if anything happened to it. Not an option for everyone but we lease a Santa Fe SUV for these sorts of situations. Don't even like parking my RC at the store... LOL!

Haha I can totally agree with that @mrjangle . I would never dream of putting anything on the roof that isn't a microfiber cloth. But that's a very good idea, lease a "go-for" vehicle

Seasucker roof mount on RC

I've used the Seasucker talon bike rack on my infrared RC and my wife's ES quite a bit. Works great, never had an issue with a pad losing vacuum, even leaving the bike on for a couple days they don't seem to lose vacuum.

Sometimes the rubber pads leave a white 'watermark' where they touch the paint. But the 'watermark' completely disappears a day or two after you take the vacuum pad off, just leave it alone. (By disappear, I mean you cannot tell where the pads were mounted, even in bright sun.) Not sure what causes it. You can also mount on the moonroof and rear window glass which I've done, but prefer the solid roof.

Roof Rack

MALONE-50-INCH-VERSARAIL-BARE-ROOF-CROSS-RAIL (AMAZON)

This is what I'm using for now. It's a strap that goes inside your car. It holds pretty strong. It's like a Thule roof rack system but with suction cups on the foot of the rack. The straps goes into your car. At freeway speed, you will hear wind noise. Not recommended to use during rain as the straps can get wet and caused the water to get in. I've carried 2 bikes on top of the car at 75 - 80 mph with no problems.

I didn't want to do a trunk mount due to worrying about the scratches if the trunk rack moves around too much.

Bike Hitch for RC 350F

Hello, has anyone installed a hitch to add a bike rack to the car? I'm hesitant to use one of the over the trunk bike racks for fear of denting/damaging the car. A hitch seems like the best way to go but my dealership has never done one on my model of car. Help! Would prefer to not buy a 2nd car just to haul my bike around!

Did you ever find a good rack for bikes? I’m looking and only have my one car. Roof rack makes me nervous. I’ve used trunk racks before. But this car is my baby

I haven't been able to solve this issue and its to the point where i may trade the car in considering I am biking quite a bit now and putting the seat down and bike in the trunk doesn't work when you A have passengers or B need to transport two bikes.
