Not a bad review, but the RC does seem to be confusing people. Its not a BMW and its not pretending to be, I guess that's strange...

If you want a sporty-looking coupe with a premium cabin and engaging dynamics this car is not a bad choice. It’s quick and entertaining, plus it’s practically guaranteed to beat its German rivals in at least one area: reliability. Since this is a Toyota it’s engineered to survive the apocalypse. It’s a car that’s easy to like but perhaps difficult to love.

I think it's good that it's not trying to be a BMW. I also think somewhere toyota mentioned that they don't want to follow anyone aka BMW.... or at least that's what they want us to think.

I said it in another thread, the RC was never about being better than a BMW, it was about being more fun. Naturally snarly V8, loud and on the edge of out of control. THATS the RC...

What if we flip the benchmark right, then where does BMW go?
