I've always had the Oiled Filters on my cars. K&N drop in and JWT Pop Charger Oiled Filter... I've just been intrigued by the Dry filters.

Great Explanation!!!

Thanks buddy.

No problem. The oiled ones are much more work, but IMHO I think they are worth it in the long run.

Apparently they're supposed to help with filtering out small particles. One thing for sure though, the process of oiling your filter is cool, makes you feel like you're doing something special for your vehicle air system..... if only cars could talk

I'm glad they can't, well most can't, as the computers hold enough evidence to hang you in the event of an accident.

I've done an aFe CAI, and you can see it on the first page. As far as exhaust there are a few out there, and you can go to the correct section to see all the different ones. No one has a turbo/super charger for our cars, yet. Hope this helped.

Thank you for the information. I figured because of how new this car is that it was kind of optimistic to hope for a turbo/supercharger xD

OK, as promised I've uploaded a sound clip to YouTube that lets you hear what the Takeda CAI sounds like on a 2015 Lexus RC 350 with F-Sport option. The exhaust is stock. I've tried to include as many different driving conditions as possible. If you have any questions let me know.

At no time was the speed limit exceeded on surface streets or the freeway. The CAI makes the car sound like it is going faster than it really is.

Even their tune will only add about 20 horsepower, per their website. As with any tune the emissions will not be set (ready), and before an emissions test the vehicle will need to be put back to normal to get everything ready. Just an FYI.

Afe Power has a new Takeda intake specifically for our cars as I got the first one. It is now listed on their site. Lexus RC 350 2015 - aFe Power

Did you get any fuel economy MPG gian and HP gain?

Has anyone compare the afe intake with the K&N drop in filter?
