De-badging

Does anybody know if the "AWD RC 350" lettering is held on by more than double sided tape? I was going to remove mine and plastidip the main L in the center of the trunk, but don't want a hole where letters used to be. I think I read that the IS did have a hole. Thanks!

Haven't seen anyone mention it yet but you can find out right now by a reliable source, which is the dealer.

If you speak with the guys at the parts department they should be able to tell you how its held on.

I recently bought a new F-Sport badge for the fender, and it has both double stick tape and two prongs to fit into the holes in the fender. I can't say about the RC350 or AWD badge, but like DCRH indicated call the parts department and ask them.

Show us some pics of the finished project once you're done. I'd love to see how it turns out.

Sweet!

Sure beats having to shell out a couple hundred or more for a body shop to fill and paint.

How did you go about removing the part of the badge you did?

I wonder why the F-Sport badge I bought from Lexus had two prongs in it then?
