Bike Racks

Does anyone have a bike rack for their RC 350? I'm looking to buy one but hesitant to committing to any due to possibly damaging the car.

I'm hoping someone in this forum has bought one and used it with their RC 350 successfully.

Thanks so much!

Are you looking for those bike racks for the rear end of the car or for the roof?

I'm looking for a rack too. Would prefer a roof rack because I'm concerned about damage to the paint if I were to get one that hangs on the back. Researched Yakima on line but no roof rack system for the RC.

There doesn't seem to be anything out there yet for the rc350. Not sure which generic roof bike rack would fit.

They might and it will be worth emailing them or one of the competing brands to see what they have planned for the future. But at this rate they might be taking it slow due to the amount of people that use roof racks on coupes. As you can imagine they have much bigger priorities.

I'd like one for the roof so as to avoid any damage. Thanks for the info! I'll keep an eye out for Thule.

You guys are braver than me! No way anything like that is going on my RC. I'd be sick if anything happened to it. Not an option for everyone but we lease a Santa Fe SUV for these sorts of situations. Don't even like parking my RC at the store... LOL!

Haha I can totally agree with that @mrjangle . I would never dream of putting anything on the roof that isn't a microfiber cloth. But that's a very good idea, lease a "go-for" vehicle

Seasucker roof mount on RC

I've used the Seasucker talon bike rack on my infrared RC and my wife's ES quite a bit. Works great, never had an issue with a pad losing vacuum, even leaving the bike on for a couple days they don't seem to lose vacuum.

Sometimes the rubber pads leave a white 'watermark' where they touch the paint. But the 'watermark' completely disappears a day or two after you take the vacuum pad off, just leave it alone. (By disappear, I mean you cannot tell where the pads were mounted, even in bright sun.) Not sure what causes it. You can also mount on the moonroof and rear window glass which I've done, but prefer the solid roof.
